Plato Learning provides online learning solutions for students of all grades. This virtual academy is hiring virtual tutors for multiple subjects.
You will deliver specific course content in a virtual environment, grade student work and enter it into an online grade book, track student progress, interact with parents of struggling students through phone or online and complete student report cards.
You need to have 3 years of classroom teaching and 1 year of virtual tutoring experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with appropriate state teaching certification in one of the core subject areas and experience teaching in that subject.
You must be a responsible person with exceptional time management skills. Must have fluency in verbal and written English, ability to maintain a flexible schedule and need to have excellent subject matter knowledge.
Must reside in the state of Iowa. This is an independent contract position.
